The City Council has selected an Ad Hoc Committee to hold meetings to discuss, review and potentially draft a new Marihuana Ordinance to replace the existing "Opt Out" ordinance which is currently in place in the City of Gaylord. The ultimate goal of the Committee will be to:
1. Review the existing ordinance
2. Prepare any desired changes
3. Recommend those changes to the City Counci
This nine (9) member Committee will conduct meetings to review information and with the assistance of the City Manager and City Attorney prepare a recommendation to assist the City Council and the Planning Commission to follow up on a way to possibly participate in the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA) within the City of Gaylord.
