Boards & Commissions
If you are interested in serving on the Planning Commission, Board of Review, or DDA, please fill out an application form and return the completed form to: City of Gaylord, 305 E. Main Street, Gaylord, MI, 49735. The application form may also be faxed to (989) 732-8266 or emailed to peterse@cityofgaylord.org. Current vacancies are announced at City Council meetings when they arise, and the appointment process is detailed in the link under this section.
Member Expectations
- Have general knowledge and/or understanding of the topics and issues reviewed by the board or commission that you are applying for.
- Review material provided in advance of the meeting.
- Engage in training activities when necessary.
- Follow the parliamentary rules of the Board/Commission.
- Attend regular meetings and special meetings, as needed.
