Developer Tool Kit

Thank you for your interest in helping grow the Alpine Village! This section is designed to put important resources for developers in one convenient location.

Once a concept is developed, the City encourages a conceptual review meeting to answer questions and make sure the concept follows our planning strategy and zoning ordinances. Please fill out this Conceptual Review Application if you feel you are ready for a review, and email it to Travis Hewitt at treasurer@cityofgaylord.org, or bring it to City Hall at 305 E Main Street for staff review.

The City is the first point of contact for development projects. We can help navigate zoning and other City related items such as water and sewer utilities. Otsego County is the governing body which issues building permits in the City. We encourage you to reach out to them early in the planning process. Otsego county Land Use Services Director Jeff Proux can be reached at 989-731-7400, or you can visit their website at Building Department | Otsego County, MI (otsegocountymi.gov)
